Coach I just received your “Complex Conditioning" book and it is outstanding. I should have bought this sooner, especially when I was working with swimmers and distance runners. I am the Strength & Conditioning coach for Qatar National Beach Volleyball team.

Bryan Smith bts327@gmail.com  Hi, I received your book over the weekend and wow, very impressive. I collect sports training literature from all over the world and I must say your system is the most practical I’ve seen. I ordered your leg book last night and will most likely order your DVD set and track book in the near future. Keep up the excellent work! Thanks again, Bryan Smith Bryan Smith

I have completed almost half of the program “Oh sole mio”, I feel good and I like the workout and I’m improving every session the technical execution of exercises. So I am very happy to have met you and to have met your precious teachings. vincenzo campobasso

Dear Steve, I received your books and they are amazing. Looking forward to train in that way, it must be great. Thanks for the additional materials and presents, I am very glad to trade with you Boris Hartman

Dear Coach, I read your big book and it’s really amazing the way you wrote it and the way you made those exercise programs. All the time I was searching for some dynamic exercise program and then in your book are presented those program and reason WHY, WHEN and HOW! marin.skondro@live.com

I had the pleasure of taking your weight training program at JCCC back in 2000-2001. I was on the dance program and your methods really helped me! I’m still dancing and have not found a program as effective and efficient since. Unfortunately I lost the syllabus from that time. I found your website but I’m not sure what program is the one I took. I just remember that I gained strength, endurance and flexibility without the pain and very quickly. I would like to build lean muscle, strength and flexibility. Would you please guide me in the right direction? samanthaharrison81@gmail.com

Coach Javorek, So, I have been doing the program for a few weeks now and I have to say the hypertrophy my body is going through is amazing, great results, I cannot thank you enough! But also my core strength and general fitness levels also seem to be increasing…WOW!! Kind Regards
Athol grtgazaro@hotmail.com

I received the book and DVD yesterday, and I have to tell you that the amount of valuable information available here is staggering. Ryan

I am purchasing the book and DVD for my husband, that thanks to your program that has been introduced to him by a personal trainer here in Adelaide, Australia, he has had tremendous results.  He has a passion for your program, watching over the internet from your website.  The results he has obtained are not just physical (though quite spectacular!), he has a new focus, commitment and passion for life – so thank you!Regards,   Anna Lolosidis

Hello Sir, I received the DVD + Book Package deal yesterday afternoon, and I’ve gone through the DVD’s as well as a large part of the book. I must say Sir the book is very comprehensive and better than the other one’s I have read. Faan du Toit, South African Rugby player

My name is Patrick Whearty, and I have bought your book and I really am blown away with all the information that you have put into it. Hello Istvan, I am very enthusiast about your book and DVD. My students too!! We are intended to integrate your complexes into our Certified Fitness Instructor course!! Thanks a lot! Ed Westgeest, Vasse, Holland.

I got the book. It’s a goldmine! Hello Istvan, My name is Jim, I am a sports fitness trainer and ex pro soccer player. I have tried various routines (German volume training, progressive build ups, pyramid, etc) your routine is absolutely brilliant. I have gone through the first few weeks of General Fitness and I am extremely impressed. Jim McGeough

Mr. Javorek, I love doing your barbell complexes and have had great success with both fat loss and muscle tone. Thanks for your time, Jim.Romagna@loras.edu

Mr. Javorek, I am a rugby player, and finally found a six week block to try your Big Fun workout you published in your book and M&F magazine. WOW!!  If you told me six weeks ago that I would rack 225lbs and Jump Squat it for 6 reps I would have slapped you. My 40yd time went from 5.1 to 4.8.  I increase my 1rm for squat 405 to 425 and flat bench 275 to 315!!  At first, I performed jump squats with only 95lbs, but as I learned the exercise, I was able to push much higher. Kevin Sullivan

Happy New Year to you Coach Javorek! How are things treating you at JCCC? I can’t express my appreciation enough for the influence you have had on my own journey in the realm of sports conditioning.  Warmest regards, Daniel Hilario Department of Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences Texas Tech University

I received the book and DVD yesterday, and I have to tell you that the amount of valuable information available here is staggering.  Thanks Ryan Arthur

I will delve in the concept of complex training of yours. The idea of using compound exercises and hitting the CNS with different kinetic patterns (avoidance of pattern overload stagnation) is indeed very good. Tassos Zikas, Sports Science & Nutrition Research Greece

Hello Coach Javorek, Thank you so much for your book, it is an incredible wealth of knowledge and I am studying it about 2 hours a day as well as planning yearly plan for my return to throwing the shot. Any help you can give would be tremendous, Adam Martin

I actually started week 1 of your 4 week excerpt in this month’s Muscle & Fitness magazine.  Awesome!!!  It blows away all the other crap that I’ve been doing.  I’m 34 years old and have been working out for a little over a year (~3x/week) Steve atriver@comcast.net

Hello Istvan! I can’t get thru the abdominal program!!!!  I thought I had a strong core!!!  I’m weak. after the first 10 exercises I’m kaput, R.

Hi Istvan, I received your package several days ago and have read most of it and looked at a small portion of the DVDs.   Well, I am fairly overwhelmed as to where to begin!  Huge amount of information for the money. Peppy R.

Coach Javorek! I discovered your programs on Men’s health over here in the Philippines. You are an inspiration to all athletes to push over the limit and reach beyond their potential. I’ve tried your Dumbbell complexes #s 1 & 2. And these are by so far the best conditioning exercises I’ve tried. Thank you very much coach for your wisdom. You should consider traveling around the world doing seminars to spread your knowledge. All the best! redninjagato

Let me tell you something about this guy. He is the nicest, humblest, coach I have talked to. As a young strength coach it’s hard to find anyone who will give you information let alone the time of day. This guy has trained Olympians and is a Hall of Famer.Yet he gave me fantastic advice and was great. HMAwill

Javorek is the best! I took his class at JCCC and helped me win two Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments as well as my first mixed martial arts bout. If you remember me Mr. Javorek it is Mike Wisler, much thanks goesout to you! Igor4eva

Hello Mr. Javorek,

Thank you for allowing me to meet you in person and purchase your book.  It was great to see you in real-life seeing that I first saw you on YouTube.

Your book is fantastic.  A wealth of information and programs.  I’m looking forward to completing many, if not all of them.  To accomplish that, I was wondering if you could guide me in the right direction.

Thought I would share my testimonial with you. I am Jonathan Swiatek and I am from South Africa. I play rugby and I needed to bulk up for the next rugby season if I was to play first team, I had the potential but not the size for the position I was going for. At the end of 2007 I was given your Mesocycle conditioning program #1 from my coach saying that he had a friend who had seen amazing results. So I decided to give it a go not knowing what to expect but I gave it my all and throughout the six week holiday of 2007 and 2008 I followed the program day by day and not missing a day, I made sure I ate a substantial amount of food “healthy food” and I had protein shake after each workout. At the end of the six weeks I had gained 15kgs, I went from weighing 75kgs to 90kgs but not only did I gain size I also gained great strength and speed which as you know is a key aspect in rugby or any contact sport for that matter. I made first team and had one of the best seasons so far in my rugby career. jonathan.swiatek@gmail.com

Hey Coach! It’s Krista Kuban, I played women’s tennis way back in 1999-2001.  I won nationals in 2001.   Remember me??   I hope you are doing well!  I currently live in Colorado and love it here!  It’s so pretty up in the mountains, so different than Kansas!!I always think about how your programs were awesome and saw that you still will personalize a program for someone.   I’d like to get back into my tennis-shape again! Coach Javorek– I have read so many of your publications, and used your methods since my earliest days training in high school. I have also trained countless athletes using your methods and principles. Your teachings have impacted these athletes in such a positive way, yet they have never even met you and vice versa. Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and for being a true pioneer, as well as one of the few truly original innovators in this field. To have you acknowledge me is truly humbling and I thank you. www.linkedin.com/pub/jc-moreau/1a/9a0/304/

Mr. Javorek, First of all, I wanted to thank you for putting together Power Thrash I and II.  Both of the 12 week workouts are a great challenge and fun at the same time. Lance D.

You probably don’t remember me but I was in your Beginning Weightlifting class four years ago. My name is Ryan Ogden. I just wanted to tell you that you were by far the best coach and lifting instructor that I have had. I still use your weight program and complex training in my own fitness.  Thank you for everything you have taught me and helped me understand.e. Ryan Ogden

Mr. Javorek, Thank you for your response.  I understand now about your program.  I have been doing the “Big Fun” Program that comes out of your book, so I assume that is correct.  Once I am finished with that I will test for the new program and send you back the test sheet. I also want to add that I have really become fascinated with the system you have developed.  I see my body changing everyday and many people who see me train ask how I do it.  I really enjoy the varied total body movements.  I am also a personal trainer and I am starting a few clients on the general fitness program and many have spoken positively about it. Greg

Coach Javorek,  As for the circuit program, I started on Thursday and Saturday. Those exercises are awesome! They are very efficient and simple to do. Initially I had thought your 1st. program would be easy; however, I was sweating at the end. I had never tried weight circuit training before. Also, what I was taught before about weight training is no longer used. Now, I just need a better/newer selection of DB weights, at home, for these exercises. If I had wanted to a PE instructor/Fitness trainer/Human Performance expert, I would want to learn from you. You got the science down for what you do. Too, bad you don’t have E-Learning (Internet) for your classes to get students trained or certified for this. When will you have newer books and DVDs? Benton Ch.

My name is C.C. I am 39 years old, 5’11” and 12 weeks ago I weighed 195 lbs. I have been weightlifting for over 15 years, but found myself in a rut. Not terribly out of shape (about 20% body fat), but far from my peak in my late 20’s. That is, until I happened across Javorek Complex Conditioning book. Now, I weigh 168 lbs. and under 10% body fat. While there was some dieting involved, Steve’s workout was the primary reason for this transformation. In the past I have tried to step up the intensity of my workouts, but it always ended up with injury. Steve’s combination of body part, loading, and repetitions has allowed me to achieve outstanding results without injury or even extreme soreness and fatigue. Not to mention, I have gained significant strength in nearly all areas. I am a follower of his now and wanted to thank you for the book and articles. C. C.

Hello Coach Javorek, Thank you so much for your book, it is an incredible wealth of knowledge and I am studying it about 2 hours a day as well as planning yearly plan for my return to throwing the shot. I am currently following your suggested plan of starting with the beginning program in Chapter 16 and working through to the Tremendous Pleasure program in Chapter 23 Sir, your three day split program is just absolutely amazing.  I was getting back into the best shape of my life, and considering that I am 35 that is quite an accomplishment!  This workout has been the most physically satisfying routine I have used. Richard Taylor

I received the package already!  The tape is very informative (as expected), but the book is really an encyclopedia of knowledge!  I’m an avid reader but this is going to take some time to absorb.  Awesome! I still read and re-read your book. I wish I could say I practice the complexes more often. Once the basic idea is grasped, I think the complexes can be adjusted to achieve most any fitness goal. I also do your dumbbell wrist routines with a light weight. Actually, I just taught my step daughter who is visiting from medical school (she has 2 yrs to go for an M.D.) She found the wrist routine very helpful. Mike Ciosec

Mr. Javorek. I received your book two days ago and I read it. Book is excellent! I have personal library of more than 100 strength training books from all greats of 19-th and 20-th Century such as Verkhoshansky, Zatsiorsky, Saxon, Sandow, Pashall and many others. But your book is practical upgrade of all the others. This was kind of information I was looking for. I never thought that dumbbells could be so much useful in sports conditioning. I was wrong. It is interesting that I was using almost the same exercises in my programs but mostly with barbells. I hope that more frequent use of dumbbells will make me more injury proof with regards: Tomislav Susec, Croatia

I recently read the Men’s Health article and am very interested in becoming a “Student of Javorek” in weight training and discipline. Watch out old-timers, here I come!  Again, I am not able to complete the ordering process on-line (paypal) or via mail and would appreciate your assistance in helping me purchase your book and DVD set, along with a few posters.  Look forward to hearing back from you. Mr. Javorek, my name is 1LT James Hester I am currently deployed in Iraq with the Army.  I am an avid weight lifter and love to exercise.  I recently came across an article with an old workout program of yours in M&F December 05 issue.  I enjoyed the workout and have become sold on the concept of a full body workout and not specialization routines.  I was wondering if you had any new workouts or suggestions on how to gain mass and size. 1LT James Hester

My name is Kane Mavrodaris and I think you’re an excellent conditioning coach. I have completed the Power Thrash Program twice and have seen great results. My power to weight ratio has increased, in all major movements. I’m busy training with my younger brother at the moment using your Barbell program for off season strength and conditioning. It’s awesome!!!! So difficult, but I can see that if we keep it up for 12 weeks we’ll be in awesome shape. Yours in Sport Kane Mavrodaris

Hi Steve, I can instantly see the value to your approach, and am a big fan of what you’ve achieved and have done for the many athletes you’ve trained. It would be a huge honor for me to continue my learning and implementation of my own program having established some form of connection with the way you do things. I have read parts of your “complex conditioning book” and want to purchase it. In Australia your kind of conditioning isn’t widely accessible as part of our cultural standard of conditioning the body goes, and am therefore extremely keen to learn more myself and ideally feel a level of support from what you are doing, as who knows where that may lead… This has been partly fueled by my own experience in the gym and the desire to correct our approach here in Australia, or at least in my sport. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I understand you are probably a busy man, but any hints tips, pointers, strategies, or other resources you would recommend; including other products you sell would be highly valued.  Best regards A.

Hi Istvan, the book is great, thank you! David

Dear Coach Javorek,  I just finished reading your article in the November issue of Men’s Health and subsequently got my butt kicked by Javorek’s dumbbell complex number 1. Wow, I am completely amazed at how something so simple can be so difficult, I thought my lungs were going to explode. Todd K.

Coach Javorek trained my son 8 years ago to help him recover from patella tendonitis. Doctors and Physical Therapists had already failed. After 6 months, the tendon was stronger and the pain was gone. My son’s team won the basketball state championship 4 months later and he received a D1 scholarship. He has since graduated and plays ball overseas. This man is a genius. dwaynewagner
